Hey, Where’s Your Mother?

Every time I make a call,
I always seem to hit a wall,
Whenever I try to clinch a transaction,
I always get the same reaction.

“Excuse me, kid, don’t waste my time,
You’re really stepping out of line,
I’d smack you with these hands of mine,
But call your mommy, and all will be fine.”

Phonophobia is what I suffer from,
‘Cause everyone wants to talk to my mom,
And just because my voice is small,
I endure rudeness from one and all.

If I could change one single thing,
I’ll exchange this voice for one that can sing,
A lady’s voice, so rich and fair,
And mistake me for a child? You wouldn’t dare!
